This Cookie Policy explains how the Kentkuran Hukuk ve Arabuluculuk website published at kentkuranhukuk.com uses cookies and similar technical storage methods.

1. What is a Cookie?

2. Cookie and Storage Types Used on this Site

a) Strictly Necessary / Functional Cookies

As long as you choose “Essential Only”, this Site sets no persistent cookies and uses only the local storage item below. If “Accept” is selected, Google Analytics sets its own persistent cookies (_ga and _ga_<measurement-id>, roughly two years); see section (c) below. The local storage item used for the basic operation of the Site is:

  • cookie-consent (localStorage): Stores the preference you have given in the cookie information banner (“all” or “essential”) in your browser, so that the banner is not displayed again on each visit. This item is held only in your browser and is not transmitted to the server.

b) Third-Party Cookies

The following third-party services may set their own cookies upon interaction:

  • Google Maps (Google LLC): The contact page map connects to Google only after you select “Load Google map”. Google may then process your IP address and browser data abroad and set cookies. The footer contains an external link only. The map can be closed by leaving the page; changing the cookie preference to “Essential Only” also removes the loaded map.
  • Form submission: Forms are submitted to the Site's own server and delivered from there by Google email infrastructure to the relevant address. This does not set any cookie in your browser.

c) Analytics (Subject to Explicit Consent)

Google Analytics 4 (GA4): Loaded only after “Accept” is selected. Cookie and device identifiers, page views, interactions and browser information may be sent to Google for measurement. IP addresses are also processed when connecting over the internet; data with unique identifiers is not treated as wholly anonymous. Advertising personalisation signals are disabled on this site. “Essential Only” prevents analytics from loading, and withdrawing consent stops new measurement transmissions.

d) Types Not Used

Advertising (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Pixel) and behavioural marketing cookies are not used on the Site. Where analytics is allowed, four interaction events are sent to Google Analytics in addition to page views: form_submit, career_apply, whatsapp_click and tel_click. These events carry only the event type and the page path, and none of the information you type into the form fields. If advertising or marketing cookies are added in the future, this policy will be updated and separate consent will be obtained through the banner.

3. Managing Your Cookie Preference

During your visit, you may set your preference (“Accept” or “Essential Only”) via the information banner that appears in the lower-left corner. “Accept”: strictly necessary cookies + Google Analytics 4 (visit measurement). “Essential Only”: only those required for the operation of the Site. Your preference is stored in your browser's localStorage area.

You may change or withdraw your preference at any time: click “Cookie preferences” in the footer of any page and the banner reopens, showing your current preference. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

To manage all cookies at the browser level, you may consult the settings of the browser you use (settings > privacy and security sections for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge).

This policy has been prepared in the framework of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the “Guide on Cookie Applications” published by the Personal Data Protection Board (June 2022).
