Cookie Policy
This English version is provided for information only. The Turkish text is the legally authoritative version.
This Cookie Policy explains how the Kentkuran Hukuk website published at kentkuranhukuk.com uses cookies and similar technical storage methods.
1. What is a Cookie?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website via your browser. Similar technologies used by the Site may also include localStorage and sessionStorage. This policy covers both traditional cookies and these local storage methods.
2. Cookie and Storage Types Used on this Site
a) Strictly Necessary / Functional Cookies
This Site does not currently use persistent cookies in the conventional sense. The following minimum local storage item is used for the basic operation of the Site:
- cookie-consent (localStorage): Stores the preference you have given in the cookie information banner (“all” or “essential”) in your browser, so that the banner is not displayed again on each visit. This item is held only in your browser and is not transmitted to the server.
b) Third-Party Cookies
The following third-party services may set their own cookies upon interaction:
- Google Maps: When the embedded map in the contact and footer sections is loaded, Google may place technical cookies pursuant to its own privacy policy. Unless you interact with the map on the Site, this scope remains minimal.
- FormSubmit.co: Only activates when you fill in and submit a form, and ensures that the form content is delivered by email; it does not set cookies during general visits to the Site.
c) Analytics (Subject to Explicit Consent)
Google Analytics 4 (GA4): Loaded only when “Accept” is selected on the cookie banner. In observance of KVKK compliance, anonymize_ip is enabled (the IP address is anonymised) and cookies are stored with the SameSite=Strict; Secure flags. The data collected is limited to anonymous statistics such as the number of visitors, page views and device/browser type; no identity information, IP or personalised profile is created. If “Essential Only” is selected, GA4 is not loaded at all.
d) Types Not Used
Advertising (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Pixel) and behavioural marketing cookies are not used on the Site. If such cookies are added in the future, this policy will be updated and separate consent will be obtained through the banner.
3. Managing Your Cookie Preference
During your visit, you may set your preference (“Accept” or “Essential Only”) via the information banner that appears in the lower-right corner. “Accept”: strictly necessary cookies + Google Analytics 4 (anonymous statistics). “Essential Only”: only those required for the operation of the Site. Your preference is stored in your browser's localStorage area.
If you wish to reset your earlier preference, you may delete the cookie-consent item in the localStorage area via your browser's developer tools; on your next visit, the banner will appear again.
To manage all cookies at the browser level, you may consult the settings of the browser you use (settings > privacy and security sections for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge).
4. Legislative Framework
This policy has been prepared in the framework of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the “Guide on Cookie Applications” published by the Personal Data Protection Board (June 2022). For more comprehensive information, please see the KVKK Information Notice and Privacy Policy pages.
5. Updates
This Cookie Policy may be updated as necessary. The current version is always accessible from this page.
